109. Some good stuff

Went to WalMart last night with my mom *ducks thrown objects* I know, I know... She camped outside of the video games (which I won't know what she got me until Christmas morning) that were in the dairy aisle while I parked myself in produce where the movies were.

I managed to grab Alien, Aliens, The Princess Bride and all three Lord of the Rings movies on Blu Ray, along with Taken on regular DVD. I passed up Prometheus for the two Alien films and if they had The Thing 2011 on Blu Ray instead of regular DVD I would have grabbed it as well. I also picked up a bit of clothing for my mom, as well. Things were pretty civil for the most part, with the main thing being "Can you grab x for me?" or "Can you grab me a copy of x while I go for y? Do you want it, too?" That said, I had two empty carts swiped from me while waiting and I had to go all the way to Lawn and Garden to find an empty one so we could check out.

My mom headed out later and got me a tablet at home improvement store Menards at 5:00 and we headed out together to get a metal and wood shelf for my comic room (I use them to put my comic boxes on) and look at a computer desk at Office Depot. I didn't like it, so we passed on it.
