A longtime Mar-a-Lago employee whos now a central witness in the classified documents investigation is speaking publicly for the first time because he believes voters should hear the truth about his former boss before the election.
Butler told CNN how he unknowingly helped Nauta deliver boxes of classified information from Mar-a-Lago to the former presidents plane in June 2022 the same day that Trump and his attorney were meeting with the Justice Department at Mar-a-Lago about the classified documents.
That day, June 3, 2022, Butler received what he remembers as a strange request from Nauta, who wanted to know if he could borrow an Escalade from the car service Butler ran for Mar-a-Lago. Trump and his family were about to fly to New Jersey that day for the summer, and it was typically Butler and his valets who handled getting their luggage onto the plane.

CNNs Kaitlan Collins snagged an interview with a man previously known only as Trump Employee #5 in the Trump federal classified documents case.
COLLINS: And did you have any time, any idea at the time, that there was potentially U.S. national security secrets in those boxes?
BUTLER: No clue. Nope, I had no clue. I mean, we were just taking them out of the Escalade and piling them up. I remember they were all stacked on top of each other and then were lifting them up to the pilots.
COLLINS: How many boxes was it?
BUTLER: They asked me in the interview, and I believe it was 10 to 15, is what I remember.
COLLINS: They being the investigators?
BUTLER: Correct.
COLLINS: And when you look back on that, now, what
BUTLER: Well, I had no clue until probably the end of June. Theres a few different things that happened that kind of opened my eyes to you know, somethings going on here.
COLLINS: So, you get that unusual request. Did you ever think to yourself, why were there so many boxes at Mar-a-Lago?
BUTLER: You know, I, for me, Im just thinking, Oh, the former president, he has a lot of stuff he likes to lug around with him. I never wouldve thought it was anything like what we see
COLLINS: Classified documents.
BUTLER: Yeah,.

OP
I'am sure that they were filled with Trump's private papers from his many years of being a statesman.
