I can remember reading about the Jonestown Massare and discussing it in Elementary School. It was 1978, so I was 11 and in 6th grade.

Then the Branch Davidians and Heaven's Gate.

I am interested in reading about cults and watching documentaries and news programs about cults.

It's easy to attribute cultishness to cults when standing on the outside.

However, all of us across the country and the planet have been subjected to the Cult of MAGA for 8 years, so it's understandable to look at this horror that we've lived through and think it's something more, even something occult.
