56. Wasn't that a mass shooting?

I often think of that scene in 2020 in Kenosha as a mass shooting. And the police just stood there and watched it, and did nothing to stop the perpetrator, and not only didn't arrest him, but didn't even try to prevent him from leaving the scene. And when they finally tried him, I got the feeling it was just a sham trial that they HAD to have because of all the furor over the shooting, and that the acquittal was pre-ordained. How could they acquit him in the face of all that video evidence of the murders and dozens of witnesses? There really is something about that event and its aftermath that stinks to high heaven. And that boy ought to be in prison right now, doing hard time. He is a murderer. And that he is instead a celebrity in right-wing circles attests to the moral character (or lack thereof) of right-wingers.
