In reply to the discussion: King Charles supposedly has Pancreatic Cancer according to this article [View all]yellowdogintexas
(23,655 posts)80. some types do not show symptoms until it is quite advanced
I lost a good friend to it. Her first chief complaint was back pain. After a number of failed solutions to the back pain, an MRI revealed a fracture in her spine - which indicates metastis. An oncologist friend told me her primary was either lung, liver or pancreas , and that the bone fractures are not primary
Treatment then was much different than now, but even now her case would have been difficult due to it being so advanced

Oh my. I don't like to buy into speculative reports--especially on something so serious...

I hope it is wrong as well. I have not been able to find another source reporting this news.

That might be more credible if they hadn't used a laughably badly-faked photo

Some kinds of pancreatic cancer are not as lethal. I have a friend who is several years past treatment.

Healthwise, the Royal's aren't doing well. Sucks for Charles, but age happens.

If true, more reason to let William ascend the throne sooner than later. Royals certainly have their challenges today.

It's not so good to be king. Poor guy was born to such a powerful family but could never catch a break.
