And the Republican Party, directed by HWBush/Cheney/etc torpedoed Carter to throw the election so that they could "install" Reagan in office........In all actuality, they committed Treason in doing so by dealing directly with Iran to not release the hostages until after the election. They told Iran they would get a much better deal from Reagan, including arms deals. Iran was an enemy and here the Republicans were making deals behind the Gov't and Congress' backs.......
