1000 think tank-fed and coordinated and very loud radio stations have been allowed to scream all day to 50 mil americans, many of which live in areas where there are NO free alternatives for politics while driving and working, attacking good people and ideas and creating made-to-order pro-corporate constituencies for any issue they want. many of those states it dominates have few people but 2 senators.

and it has worked so well because the left ignores the talk radio monopoly while it kicks our ass. there is NO organized opposition to it.

yeah we got the white house and senate, but we also have lost 20 years with those motherfuckers short circuiting the feedback mechanisms a real democracy depends on to deal with problems such as global warming and chickehawks screaming for war.
