40. Size and strength
Mon Apr 8, 2024, 10:55 PM

And it is not even close.

The NCAAW (womens) championship was last night. It was a good game. The difference in the game was size. South Carolina has a 6'7" 215 pound center, Kamilla Cardoso . She out rebounded anyone on the other team, by almost triple 17-6. South Carolina also has a 6'2" 175 pound power forward. Chloe Kitts. She out rebounded anyone on the other team by almost double 10-6. The lead rebounder for Iowa, you may have heard of her, Caitlin Clark, is 6'.

Those two women out rebounded the other team 27-25. The team totals were 49-25 in rebounds. That won them the game. It was fairly predictable.

Move to the pros, the WNBA. One of the leading rebounders in the league, and one of the tallest, is Jonquel Jones. At 6'6", 215 pounds, she is one of the best in the league and all three of these women are fantastic athletes.

Move to the NBA. There are no NBA teams in the league that do not have multiple players 6'8". Most teams have a 7'er or at a minimum 6'11". The men play more minutes per game then any of the women, and they play 72 games a year where the women play 40. They are quite simply bigger, stronger, and faster.

Compare the best of the NCAAW and WNBA to ... one of the best in the NBA. Joker. 6'-11', 285 pounds, not even the tallest or heaviest. There is nothing all three of these women, at the same time, could do to stop Joker from dunking the ball every single time he got it. Nothing. The most likely could not even foul him hard enough to stop him so it would be a basket plus a free throw. He would score as many points as he wanted and get 80% of all rebounds if he was the only man on any WBA/NCAAB team.

The men's teams are full of these monsters. There are 4 players in the WNBA who are 6'-8" )Brittney Griiner being one, you may have heard of her) and 1 over 6'-8.5". 1 over 7'.

That is basketball. Football is even worse. I am a grown man 5'10", 210 pounds and I would most likely be severally injured if a 6'6". 260 pound linebacker hit me at full speed. They would, literally, kill female players ... on live TV.

Men are bigger, faster, and stronger. Not admitting this fact is insane.
