Trump Compares Himself to "Legendary" Al Capone, Recounts Murderous Tactics [View all]

During a Wednesday night event celebrating Truth Social's public offering, Trump addressed Truth Social influencers and investors poolside at his Mar-a-Lago home. Trump then compared himself to Al Capone, falsely claiming he had more indictments than the former mob boss.

Trump said he became "well known for somebody that was indicted more that Alphonse Capone, the legendary Alphonse Capone." Trump then described Capone's ruthless killing of opponents and even those who looked at him in a way he didn't like:

"

You know, Al Capone, if he took somebody to dinner and he didn't like him, he kill them. If somebody looked at him the wrong way he would kill them. He once had a date, a very lovely young lady, and the man next to him tried to pick her up. Guess what happened to him? It wasn't good. Scarface they call him. It was not good to go after Alphonse Capone's girlfriend. I'll teach that to these guys."

Trump then quipped that Al Capone "got indicted less" that he did:

Capone died of syphilis. Does Trump have it? Might explain his behavior.
