The weapon was already gone. OJ would have tossed it on his travel to Chicago or back.

With that, the knife likely went in the bag and was in the bag at least until getting to LAX.

Victims blood in OJs bag would have been damning evidence. Even with that, jury would likely have let him walk. There was plenty of other damning evidence that was ignored.
