that would be created if every single person's tax return were audited?

I bet the unemployment rate would drop to 3%.

Really, people never think through idiocy like this. I cannot actually make a sensible estimate of the number of new IRS employees that would be needed to audit everyone's tax returns, but the IRS would have to hire an awful lot of people.

Same with actually taking away everyone's guns. Now, I'm one of those who thinks we need to have much stricter gun laws, but to go out and take away all the guns? In some kind of fantasy world everyone would cheerfully turn in their guns -- wait! That's an excellent conspiracy idea -- they'll put something into the water that will make everyone want to turn in their guns. Yeah, that's it! Now why didn't we realize that before?
