At this point, most of the developed world, i.e. Canada, Australia, the countries Western Europe, are democracies with National Healthcare and Higher Education systems that are nationally subsidized..Unlike Americans, they don't go broke when a health crisis hits or into deep debt as a result of financing an education...They have stronger labor unions, more public holidays and far longer paid vacation time. The ""spoiled American" trope is out of date and has been for some time.
