25. The Iranian Revolution in 1979 was a result of the US/UK

overthrow of Iran's elected government. But the current religious dictatorship in Iran is a result of Iranian extremists themselves overthrowing democratically elected governments that followed the Shah.

We are not dealing with the Iran of 1953 or of 1979. We are dealing with the Iran of today. Why excuse their support of terrorism today because of events from 44 or 71 years ago?

Israel's attack in Syria was against Iranian Guard commanders who aid and sponsor the current Hezbollah attacks on Israel. It was an act of self defense in war time.

"If Iran hit a Western consulate, we would rain down holy hell fire on them."

True. And if one of Iran's proxy terrorist groups, like Hamas, had attacked the US and raped, tortured, murdered 1200 people and taken over 200 hostages from infancy to age 80, we would rain holy hell on either Iran, the proxy terrorist group, or both.

I have read a lot of posts here that condemn Israel's response to Hamas as not being proportional to the Hamas attack on Israel. So, were Iran's missile and drone attacks throughout Israel a proportional response to Israel taking out 5 Iranian terrorist commanders who were responsible for Hezbollah's attacks on Israel?
