(19,923 posts)34. Nah, they will make another "narrow" ruling
perhaps with his name in it, saying 'this will only apply to this one guy' in legalese.
Now, I know what you're going to say "Why, they can't make a law that only affects one person! It's against the rules!" and I answer who is going to stop them?
What we've learned is that there is no recourse in our government, it was built on the assumption that corruption would be rare, a person here and there, so the "consequences" for actions would be served by the non-corrupt.
The non-corrupt are non-existent on the Republican side and once the Supreme Court rules on anything, we have to fucking live with the consequences.
