My late wife, Marcy, while Director of the Older Americans Council in Gainesville (FL) collaborated with Governor Graham's wife, who promoted programs to care for the elderly and other homebound folks, keeping them safe and as healthy as could be, while staying in their own homes. Adele even made some home visits with Marcy to learn how local agencies cared properly for the frail elderly of Florida. Compassion in action - not what you see from the political machines in that state these days.
