4. I'm sorry about this situtation with your mom. It is much harder

to recover when the hip is broken during trauma, plus she must have been very stressed when it took a long time for the emergency crew to reach her. I hope she does well with surgery and therapy. My mother had one hip replaced three times, and it was always successful. Her surgeons credited her positive attitude along with doing exactly what she was directed to by her therapist. Anything you can do to keep her spirits up will be a big help.
