(3,544 posts)The corrupt Supreme Court seems to be going the way of granting the SOB immunity, the corrupt judge Cannon is working her way to dismiss, or at least prolong the documents trial (why hasn't Jack Smith done what he should to have Cannon recuse herself from the trial?), now it seems there is a juror in NY who is leaning (maybe got paid or planted) to be the one person to hung the jury, his numbers for the presidency have not suffered much if anything, they should be zero but, they remain the same, the $600 million bond was reduced to $175 million which he still has not paid, and so on, and on...so, is he demented or is he a genius who has been able to scare (maybe by compromising) the entire republican party, to keep his base almost intact, to convince Latinos like Venezuelans that he is the only one who can help Venezuela get rid of the regime, even though in John Bolton's book it is described how Putin told him to not do anything to help Venezuela, that Maduro is "strong and intelligent", which trump repeated to Bolton, and thus Bolton's plans were canned.
My question is, do people who seem to be in the cult care that he is suffering from dementia? I don't think so, and thus news about his dementia don't change anything, he is still there corrupting the system, breaking the rules on his gag orders and no one puts him in jail or make him suffer enough for him to stop, he keeps insulting people, and nothing changes.
I wonder if what is happening is that most of us who lean to normality, as well as the many doctors who find him demented, find his actions as signs of dementia, but he is fooling us all by continuing with his demented behaviour which may be in fact his modus operandi to accomplish as much as he has, and continues doing?
Democrats need to be become more aggressive towards the Supreme Court and other institutions to make things happen, if repubs don't like it? too bad, but it always seems like republicans accomplish what they are after, but Democrats exist in a reactive mode, that has to change.
Came back to EDIT this post because there is an article here in DU, with the appropriate link, that kind of corroborates what I just wrote. here is the DU link:
