In reply to the discussion: Protesters shout 'babykillers' at Jewish elementary school children [View all]Chainfire
(17,757 posts)but I sure as hell understand why they are doing it.
So you are outraged, and rightly so, about Jewish children being frightened, I get that and sympathise. Do you have any outrage for the kids being killed in Gaza who's only sin is that they were born in Palestine or do those children, somehow, not matter as much as the ones at the school in question?
My position has nothing to do with religion as I am not religious, it has nothing to do with Nationalism as I am not a Nationalist, I am not anti-Semtic as I have always liked the few Jews that I have come in contact with, but it does have something to do with human decency. It is not a decent thing to do to frighten children, but it is horrible to bomb them in their schools and homes. That is why the protestors are there; but you know that, right?
I don't know why you envoked Jesus Christ at the end of your post, because what happened at the school and is happening everyday in Gaza has nothing to do with the teachings of Jesus.
