31. Hail to the current Keeper of the TOON Flame

The TOON tradition on DU was started by nostamj, who offline was a songwriter/writer/director/producer/graphic designer in NYC.

He died pretty suddenly in 2005, and was greatly missed.

I used to post them twice a week, and in the early morning (which was when I had time to compile them). Unfortunately they'd drop down or off the front page and a lot of people missed them -- so many that some didn't realize we still had active TOON threads and started posting their own threads. I invite those who are still active here to chime in with their stories.

Having done it myself, I can truly appreciate what n2doc has to do to crank out several TOON posts pretty much daily.
