18. It IS a religion with some people.

It's just my experience, but the people who believe in crazy things are the same people who think religion is responsible for the ills of the earth. In that one category, they'd fit in perfectly on DU. But the other things they believe -- yikes.

I think some of it comes from the belief that the system is rotten, and nothing is to be trusted. Into the void comes all these crazy things that explain WHY.
