If TFG reached into his pocket and paid Stormy Daniels — paid using his own money — there is no crime. Adultery? Other than rank hypocrisy, most people couldn’t care less (although we on the left would steer clear of the slime).

The crime is using other people’s money (donors, businesses), then hiding that theft via the shenanigans played with his former fixer (and maybe his former CFO).

Hmmm. Have to think about this. Is a minute up? Done thinking. Right wingers are just stupid. Up and down, from sunrise to sunset, stupid. And, of course, fascist level evil.
