4. We shop ALDI for all the basics

Bread, milk, meat, dairy. Basic canned vegetables and fruits, baking needs, aluminum foil. Many snacks, too. Even razor blades. Quality is almost always really good.

Produce is meh...YMMV. But for everything else, ALDI is our go-to. For those basics I listed, the cost averages 20 percent less than anywhere else.
