7. I've been seeing that in a lot of places: lurid headlines that are totally unsupported by the facts in the story.

"Journalists" write a properly-sourced and balanced story with a number of caveats, then an "editor" with a clear agenda, probably under instructions from upper management, concocts a misleading headline that in no way reflects the actual reporting. It's happened far too many times in recent days.
