7. Excuse me if I laugh at this sad, sad story

in which a mega-multimillionaire retreats to lick his wounds while:

• He "looks out the windows of his beach house here in La Jolla" (my heart is breaking for him)

• He has been "spotted driving a new black Audi Q7, a luxury SUV manufactured in Slovakia." (it's what we all do when we're feeling down)

• His "wife, Ann, who friends said believed up until the end that ascending to the White House was their destiny ... has been crying in private and trying to get back to riding her horses." (I always go for my dressage horse when a case of the blues washes over me)

• "They ordered their turkey dinner from Boston Market, the home-style restaurant chain, because there were too many kids running around the house to bother with cooking a feast." (What kind of idiot am I, who cooked for three straight days for Thanksgiving? I could have ordered out from Boston Market.)
