So Pope Francis excommunicated Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano. Ambassador to the United States. He created a following of like-minded conservatives and delved deep into conspiracy theories from covid 19 to the great reset. He arranged Kim Davis to greet Pope Francis. He was involved in the US culture war over gay marrige and religous liberty issues. He called Pope Francis a false profit and a servant of satan, that he should resign.
Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts faith based catholic conservatism.
