But a larger proportion has just dropped out. They "don't like politics" or they "don't follow politics" or "both sides are the same" (and holy FUCK does the media drive this as hard as they can) or "it's all predetermined anyway" or "all politicians are the same" and they don't vote. They don't follow news. I'm sorry - I should have mentioned apathy as the third leg of this.
