was so stressful. I have no idea when the next time might occur that I back away but I’m pretty sure there will be a next time.

I think it’s partly the feeling of helplessness. There are a lot of things that happen in our lives that can make us feel like we don’t have control but the sense that our very freedoms are at risk and a large segment of the population doesn’t see it or care is mind blowing. And the more you care, the more it hurts.

Take care of yourself. Step away from the madness and do what you need to do to find some peace again.
