So my problem is Seth said "he didn't seem" to recognize me. Seth should have confirmed his suspicion (privately) by engaging with Biden directly and seeing what he said. Although, as someone who has been in that situation, I understand the reluctance to confirm something like that. It's kind of painful. But by not confirming, there's still the possibility that Biden saw him but wasn't in the mood to entertain him or anyone else. His last living son is being put through hell. There's a lot going on.
