that the savings come from allowing medicare to negotiate drug prices (like Canada). It is not actually a cut in benefits in that the people get the same meds, we just pay less for them. It is just like the savings that come from removing 716 billion of excess insurance company profits from the system. The benefits are the same, just insurance companies make less money providing them.
