joked about the quake in DC and surrounding environs needed to take whatever was dished out, and rightly so.

We know that at the sight of the first flake we pretty much flip out.

This time, for us, it was even more scary because of the ice. I was going to take a little walk because I love the snow, but didn't even make it down the driveway before ending up on my butt. So not only do I not know how to drive in snow, I apparently don't know how to walk in it! I hoisted myself up and gingerly minced my way back to the house and haven't been outside since.

I've long had have a fantasy of a winter getaway with beautiful snow, snow, snow, but every time we actually get some, I find myself thinking that I don't know how you guys manage it for an entire winter!

Thanks for being so thoughtful.
