They should have just switched ticket. [View all]
Put Kamala Harris on top of the ticket and Joe Biden as Vice-President. That would relieve pressure off Biden while still keeping the ticket intact. By just retreating so late in the game, the Democratic Party (due its weird failure not to get behind its candidate) has just created chaos and surrendered to a Republican talking point (that Biden is doddering fool) with no concrete evidence.
The Republican Party has fully got behind its candidate even though he has been convicted of criminal offences but the Democratic Party forced their candidate to throw in the towel just because he is old and occasionally has some senior moments. This is just sad.
