3. I was 7 for the 1972 election ...

and because my parents were for Nixon I was too. My first political memory.

We have all evolved into Democrats since then.

I now find myself more conservative than my 26-year-old very progressive elder son.

Generations and the nature of aging?

Or maybe it is just me.
