Journalists should stop giving this extremely dangerous person a platform.

We all should stop seeing the results as entertainment.

10+ times a day we hear about Trump "melting down" or Trump embarrassing himself or Trump saying ridiculous things. MUST SEE TRUMP MELTDOWN THIS IS A DISASTER TRUMP IS TOAST. Seriously? All fun and games is it?

NABJ is an advocacy organization supporting Black journalists. Trump is openly hostile to journalism, let alone to Black journalists. The very first words out of his mouth expressed utter contempt for the questioner, the media, journalism, et al, while he portrayed himself as the beleaguered victim. WTF?

Trump has nothing new to say, nothing of value to offer. He is a threat. He is deranged. How many times do we have to hear the same absurd narrative? Giving him a platform lends legitimacy to him. Treating his antics as entertainment trivializes the dire threat he represents. Using him as clickbait or for ratings is morally depraved.
