What bothers me is that the main reason I keep hearing as the case for Shapiro is the belief that he'd ensure a win in PA. While that may be true, it seems there needs to be a lot more reasons than just being able to deliver their home state. He comes with a bit more baggage than the other VP candidates. Is it to a degree that would negatively affect the outcome? That's the question.

I think a candidate like Walz would win PA as well as other Rust Belt states and potentially help in other close states.

Listening to Walz on Ezra Klein's podcast I'm liking him more and more. Walz comes off so similar to Biden. And his history of being a congressman helps as well, he knows Washington.
