8. Ohio is always in play

A special election in August 2023 was for a referendum to make it harder for voter-led initiatives to amend the Ohio State Constitution to be proposed and approved. It failed and it's failure of this issue cleared the way cleared the way for Issue 1 & 2 to be passed. It had an unusually high voter turnout. LaRose tried his best to get Issues 1 & 2 off the ballot and wasted taxpayers money to do it. Ohio voters thwarted DeWine and LaRose in the last 3 elections
Issue 1 was reproductive health and Issue 2 legalized marijuana.
