I'm not watching, but if he's not a twitchy, babbling, flop-sweaty mess but still has dilated pupils, I'd guess he's on some kind of "speedball", which for the unaware is a drug cocktail of both stimulants and depressants. It's generally uppers, cocaine/amphetamine/meth/MDMA/&c. that cause dilated pupils; he could be on Adderall to help whatever cognitive function he has left, mixed with a good whack of Ativan or Valium to keep him from going batshit. Come to think of it, benzodiazapenes (Valium et al.) also dilate the pupils so that's my bet.

A whole bunch of Adderall with just enough Valium to keep him controlled.
