319. Here's my take on this: The post in question here is tied to this week's events on DU.

What Femrap said was bullshit and was her taking the comic way too seriously but seriously it seemed as if she was looking for a reason to be pissed. HOWEVER, the same people supporting SCE on this thread went after HopeHoops pretty hard and helped push for his banishment. He was making misogynistic jokes and deserved some form of disciplinary action no doubt. But there's been an increase of anger about misogyny here and that Superman comic certain falls under the boundaries of the same thought process.

So someone angry about the HH incident and hyped up over this week's conversation may have felt emboldened to attack a potentially borderline comic because well, everyone was on the same page...

until it was someone they liked.

I have no affiliation with either party and honestly, I find misogyny to be rather disgusting (though I do believe there is a very strong double standard about misandry on the other side). I also think the comic was silly but I can see why there was a complaint.

I think SCE should have a little thicker skin about this (nobody has everybody liking everything they ever do) and stay but use this as a lesson to be a little more selective in what he posts. I think Femrap needs to relax a bit more because she seems wound way too tight. If she is looking to start a war based on the concept that there is a strengthening of support for feminism based on what HH started, I feel she would be better off going to battle with right wingers who will put up a far more angry fight about this.
