I felt safe using the tool. It only asks for name, State of residence and date of birth. There was an entry for each address I've lived (3). The tool hides all digits but the last 2 of your social security number.
They recommend you freeze your credit file with all 3 credit agencies so no one can get new credit using your info. This doesn't affect your credit score.

Yup. I'm on there 3 times. But my credit is frozen, and I'm not in the commercial banks.
