in the US, recent census data shows that there were just over 40 million Americans with a disability in the US, or 13% of the population, not including those who are in institutions like prison, or long-term care facilities.

And I'm one of them (a profound loss of hearing since birth).

People like this who venture to make smart-ass remarks and such, think that they are being witty or something, which is far, far from the truth. In what world is one elevated when they mock someone's handicap, or mock a handicap, especially knowing that literally everybody in this Country more than likely has a handicapped person in their family?

God, the asinine and witless have taken over the GOP and have run amuck, and they think that they are above the rest of us. If anything, they've have debased themselves to the lowest of the low, and the scummiest of the scummiest. I still have that absolutely repulsive tidbit by djt when he mocked that handicapped reporter. As a result, I think djt is far more handicapped that those he mocks, and he's doing it deliberately, not inadvertently.

And I'm being proven right.

Shame on all of those outside of DU who mock the handicapped.

The Lord is God of the physically healthy and the mentally strong, but He is also the God of the physically disabled and the mentally handicapped. He is sovereign over the fragile and feeble as well as over the adroit and mighty. The Bible teaches that every person conceived in this world is a unique creation of God (see Psalm 139:16), and that includes the disabled and the handicapped.
