Many on the right who fear "one world government" don't just want the US out of the UN, but out of the WTO, IMF and World Bank among just about any other multilateral institution you can think of. (Check out the GOP platforms in Texas, Iowa and many other states if you don't think the far-right of the GOP doesn't hate those institutions, too.)
Seems they share your fear of "one world government" globalization; you just don't share their fear of the the UN. I agree with you on the latter.
