I had woefully underestimated the sheer number of stupid Americans.
It took me by surprise that so many believed all the obvious lies. Maybe I shouldnt have been so shocked. Looking back and reflecting, I had to acknowledge to myself that the signs had been there and I was not taking them serious enough that it would occur to me that there was a real problem. It snuck up on me when they actually elected that man, that a great dumbing down had taken place like it had. And now were 8 more years in and they are dumber than ever. He hasnt done a damn thing for them and theyre voting for him again.
