It's because the neocons have found a home in the Democratic Party.

Because Trump is a greater threat to neoconservatism than the Democrats.

Thus... I hope and pray to the Cat and Dog God... that once Trump is defeated the Democratic Party flushed all the neocon turds who have sucked up to the Party over the last 8 years.

A neocon influenced Democratic Party is worse than the pre-Trump status quo.
