(4,431 posts)68. Roe was not an amendment
It was a judicial ruling by 7 of 9 justices, never ratified by Congress or any state, and was controversial every single day it was in effect.
The 22nd amendment was ratified by super-majorities of both Congress and state legislatures and has not been remotely controversial since its incorporation into the Constitution. No one disputes that its adoption was procedurally and legally sound.
The Supreme Court is not going to unilaterally remove it. The very notion is an absurd fantasy.

How long does it take to get a passport? Seems like there should be plenty of time.

I'm 69 and lived a good life. I can put up with 10 years in a "re-education camp".
