Hey - do your munchkins bite you on the leg when they want attention? Peewee's 14 and never did. Darth started a year or so ago and apparently taught Pee how to do it. They don't puncture skin or do it in a mean way, but damn does it hurt when you're preoccupied with typing on DU.

I posted elsewhere on DU that I never pranked anyone exept friends, and the last time I did was back in college days (before the dawn of time).

Words hurt. Many years ago I was visiting some very good friends who had a couple of youngish kids they'd adopted. We were eating or playing a game or something and I elbowed the daughter and said something I thought was innocuous like "oh no you didn't, dummy!" Her reaction was so defensive I felt absolutely horrible. (My sister & I called each other horrible names all the time.) This girl had been found in a filthy house with her brother and drug-addicted mother.

I still feel horrible and guilty. She was always fond of me, and I really hurt her by saying something completely dumb.

These DJs should be sent to to outback. Again, I'm pissed.
