(313 posts)23. This is what takes my breath away . . .
I literally have trouble breathing as I ponder this very question. I'm in excellent health, but how this election could be anything but the biggest landslide in history is baffling. You have the oldest candidate ever on one side, a truly insane maniac, a convicted felon . . . you know the rest . . . and on the other side a brilliant woman with a sterling reputation and resume to go with it.
I try to imagine what it must be like for Kamala and Tim to wake up every day and realize that, no matter they do or what Trump and Vance do, this "race" is, apparently, close. HOW?
Never in my wildest imagination could this happen. Instead, it's our reality. I hope we can all breathe easier soon. But I'll never forgive MAGA Republicans for putting me, and you, and this country through this torture. Never.

Yes, but reporting a close race isn't a money maker for the media. They need heightened awareness to rake it in.
