57. I am of the generation that started saying "fuck"

Does the fact that the script for this ad has Sam Eliot intoning, “the same broken fucking road” represent some rubicon crossed or is this just a confirmation that somehow “fuck” has become the perfect word?

It is no longer obscene, but it can definitely get people’s attention. It is the perfect fucking word.

I guess I answered my own question…😉
