Everyone always says 'follow the money' and for the first time I did that when I saw that this bill was going forward. I wanted to see for myself. And there has never been a clearer picture of how money actually does talk than this episode showed.
Yes, it was ignorance of the internet on the part of many of them. But they ignored their constituents, did not listen to them. Take a look sometime at who is receiving the most money from the Movie/Music Industry and then compare that to the way they were voting. It was like exhibit #1 on OWS main reason for being, the horrible, poisonous effect that Corporate Money has on our government.
