(8,138 posts)in refusing POTUS and VP's phone calls despite going through two back-to-back hurricanes, with a 3rd bearing down on them, he made the comment: Then they've already seceded from the Union and should be dealt with as secessionists. It's something I've been saying for quite some time, tho with Texas ahead as the lead secessionist state. I may have been wrong only in the name of the state. Between DeSantis and West Virginia today, I think we truly need to address the definition of secession and actions of the states that either have implemented it as fascist rule, or are leaning in that direction. Turning our face away and refusing to acknowledge it isn't going to make it go away. And I'd rather a diplomatic solution that another Civil War, tho that IS precisely what the RWNJs want.
