(8,138 posts)of different ways to use my cane! I also have several staffs, the heaviest turned out to be too large around and way too heavy for me to lift, let alone walk with (which is what it's purpose was to be). But I have 3 that are range from about 4-1/2 feet to 6 feet long. I am partial to the 5 footer... it's good for hiking or long walks, and I've practiced with it in ways beyond just walking!
LOVE the idea of the little kitchen sink. I'm going to have to remember that, cause I'm accused always of being able to pull out of purse whatever people might need. Especially band-aids. I never go *anywhere* with a goodly number of band-aids. My skin is thin, many of my meds thin out my blood, and I can have blood running down my arm or leg and not realize it until someone tells me. So, folded up paper towels and bandaids are always with me. I also keep a very heavy duty flashlight in my purse, as well as a really cool (sharp) letter opener, extra lighters, and until recently, had a 2-pound free weight in it. I was trying to build up some strength, but my fibro finally screamed too loud about it!
Thanks for the smile, sis!
