9. I'd Guess Most Elected Offices in Any Given State

are held by registered Republicans. But somehow everything that's "wrong" is because of some far off Democrat.

Someone mentioned an old Chinese proverb that I thought was clever. It goes something like this:

A man who blames others for his troubles has a long way to go on his journey. A man who blames himself is half way there. A man who blames no one has arrived.
